It's Uncle Pete's BIRTHDAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE PETE! He's 75 years old. HOT DAMN! And Charlie is back and well. Chicken Salad sandwich with french fries and a pickle. Two Sapphire Martini's up with olives.

Hot as all hell outside. Uncle had the chicken noodle soup, lump crab-cake sandwich on a roll with french fries. Two Saphire Martinis up with olives. Uncle has brought his own vermuth to the bar which they keep in a little fridge with his special olives.

Charlie is out of critical condition but still in the hospital. Once again I drank his beers. Uncle made a special 'not on the menu' order today of open bacon and tomato with melted cheddar cheese on rye, french fries and cole slaw. Two Saphire Martini's up with an olive and a half pint of Guinness.

Our friend Charlie, who is a regular at Annie Moore's, was badly burned last week and is at the hospital in intensive care on a ventilator. We pray for his quick recovery and return. Uncle had the BLT with french fries and cole slaw. Two Saphire Martini's with olives and a half pint of Guiness.

Uncle came with his wife Bea. Told me my grandmother loved The 300. Corned Beef on Rye for St. Patrick. A saphire martini up with an olive and a pint of Guiness.

Uncle has been busy. One week he had an American Legion meeting. The next a V.A. hospital appointment and last week he went to a dude ranch. Didnt ride horses though. Finnally this week we got together. Penne in cream sauce with scallops and shrimp and parmersean cheese. Two Sapphire Martini's with olives.

I didn't have any money on my metrocard so Uncle had to take the bus alone and he also doesn't understand how such a thing as an empty metrocard is possible. I will never be able to redeem myself. Chilled Vichychoise, Pan Seared Veal with mushrooms and cabernet sauce and a side of string beans. Two Saphire Martini's with olives.

Jon Bronner Swingle joined us for lunch today. Uncle had a turkey, ham and cheese sadnwich on rye with french fries and coleslaw. Two Saphire martini's Uncle didnt finish his sandwich and had to get the second half to go.

Another new soup, my God. Irish courgette with blue cheese and bacon. Then a crabmeat sandwich with french fries. Only one Saphire Martini up with an olive. WELL DONE PETER!

A new soup! Crabmeat corn chowder. For an entree Uncle had the special, a cider roasted pork sandwich with mashed potato's. Two Saphire Martini's. Uncle was not particularly pleased with any facet of todays meal.

Another soup day, mushroom and chicken consomme. Then for his main course he had the Fusilli with tomato sauce and crab meat. Which he did not finish because he felt it A: should'nt have had basil and B: was misleading on the menu. Two Saphire Martinis and a half pint of Bass.

The rain cannot stop our lunch! Uncle enjoyed a Sirloin Steak au poivre, medium rare with a brandy reduction, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots and two martinis. WELL DONE PETER!

Today Uncle had a bowl of lentil soup with truffle oil. Two Saphire martini's with olive's and penne with tomota sauce and goat cheese. My Grandmother and her friend Marie joined us for lunch. They are well.

Uncle had one Saphire martini up with an olive, then without anything to start with he had the pounded veal with asparagus, baby greens and vinaigrette dressing. During which he had two and a half Bass Ales.

This week Uncle started with a bowl of lobster bisque and then asked for a nice Sherry to put on top of the soup. For his main course he ordered Poached Codfish with spinach and mushrooms. He Drank two saphire martini's up with an olive and one bass beer.
